We are The Good Food Alliance (GFA) and we're proud to be hosting another sharing session of ours - A Pinch of Salt 10.
Who are the GFA? We are just a group of like-minded friends who happen to operate and run some of PJ and KLs favourite casual eateries.
Folks from myBurgerLab, Inside Scoop, Strangers at 47, Red Bean Bag, Yellow Brick Road, Grub, ChocolateConciergee, Table and Apron, Wizards, Amazin Graze, Smooshie and of course our host, Copper will be there. Come on over to Copper at Menara Shell on the 11th of August and make some new friends, listen to some new ideas and most importantly learn something new!


Cage Free Eggs and Chicken
Dawn will be speaking about the benefits of cage-free chickens/eggs and the importance for F&B purveyors to embrace this idea moving forward into the future.

Composting Food Waste
Mae is a microbiologist who has developed and rents out machines to convert food waste up to 90% in 24hrs to produce highly nutritious soil compost.
More about Mae Ooi:
"Mae obtained her Bachelor of Science with Honors in Bio-Genetic from National University of Malaysia. She brings with her over 20 years of experience in international sales and marketing microbiological involvement and the development of biological methods in pest control for agricultural usage. She is currently the Sales Director of Mentari Alam Eko (M) Sdn Bhd, which provides state of the art technology in food waste composting solution contributing to circular economy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Her role in the company is in R&D of biotech to achieve a speedy food waste composting. She has been invited as speaker in many waste related forums and seminars and recently sit in as panel in 2018 National Waste Management Conference. She believes in collective effort of every individual in creating a “Zero Waste” environment by adopting responsible waste management."

The session is organised and hosted by the good people at COPPER, specifically Zeehan Zahari, the better half of the Copper team. She is the co-founder of Copper, and she's has been a strong believer of sustainable F&B practices and wishes to push the industry towards a greener ecosystem.
Light refreshments will be provided. No food will be available for order as the kitchen is closed at that time.
